Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive Colombo and transfer to Kandy
Welcome to Colombo! Arrive at the airport where you are met and transferred to Kandy. Later visit the Peradeniya Botanical Gardens and proceed on a Kandy city tour which also includes the spice gardens and Mahaweli River. Late evening visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic and view a traditional dance performance. Stay overnight at hotel in Kandy.
Day 2: Kandy – Pinnewala – Colombo
After breakfast proceed to Colombo and en-route visit Elephant Orphanage in Pinnawala which houses young elephants who have been separated of their natural habitats/ families. Later proceed to Colombo for the city tour which covers major landmarks like the Fort, Colombo Port, Pettah, the Dutch Reformed Church in Hulftsdorf and the High Courts. Stay overnight at hotel in Colombo.
Day 3: Depart Colombo
After your last breakfast in Colombo, you can shop at Odel, Barefoot, and Paradise Road etc for the latest in fashion & utility. Later proceed to the Airport to board your flight back to homebound.
